The item I received was damaged. What should I do?
Occasionally a shipment might get damaged in transit. If this happens, we will do our best to take care of it immediately. Follow the guidelines below within 48 hours of receipt.
- Do not throw away any damaged items or packaging materials until we confirm you can discard them.
- Take pictures of the damage on packaging (if any) with address label visible. Take pictures of the item from different angles showing damage.
- Email weborders@dchomeinteriors.com with a description of damages providing as much detail as possible and provide all photos.
- Await further instructions from DC Home Interiors. We will instruct if you need to send the item back or discard the item.
We will not be able to help with any complaints of damages, including visible or material defects, after the product has been assembled, installed, or altered.
DC Home Interiors LLC reserve the right to deny any return/refund if criteria is not met.
I received the wrong item. What should I do?
If an incorrect item was shipped, send an email to weborders@dchomeinteriors.com with the order information and the item that was to be shipped. If possible, include the description of the item that was received. We will notify of what to do with the incorrect item and if the correct item can be shipped.
Can I cancel my order?
Our orders process quickly, there is a very short period of time in which an order may be cancelled. Once an order has been processed in our system, it can not be considered for cancellation. If you wish to cancel an order during normal business hours text 504-723-3130 with your order number or email weborders@dchomeinteriors.com with your order number. We will notify you if your order was able to be cancelled. All cancelled orders will be subject to a 4% cancellation fee. We encourage you to be certain about your order prior to submitting the order as all sales are final and non-refundable.
I purchased an item but changed my mind, may I get a refund?
All sales are considered final and non-refundable. Please take the time to thoroughly research the products before proceeding through checkout.
My purchase was lost in transit, what should I do?
In case of a lost shipment, please contact our customer service team as soon as possible for assistance.

How long do I have to return an item?

When can I expect to receive my order?
Items can take 3 to 5 business days to process prior to shipment. Once the item is in transit, the schedule is dependent upon the Carrier. If your item(s) are not received by 30 days, contact us here.
Do you offer local pickup for online purchases?
All items purchased through our web store will be shipped directly from a warehouse location to the ship to address on the order. If you require local pickup, the order must be placed through the local store.
Do you ship internationally?
No, Currently we do not.
The tracking says delivered but where is it?
Please check with the delivery company to verify if it was in need of a signature. DC Home Interiors is not responsible for lost or stolen packages confirmed to be delivered to the address entered on the order.
I’ve only received part of my order. What should I do?
You should not be concerned. In most instances, orders will be split into multiple shipments due to items being shipped from different locations and will arrive at different times. Most items should be received within 30 days unless specified otherwise on the item. In the event that all items are not received in 30 days, contact us here.
How do I make a change to my order?
If you have noticed an error after submitting your order, please contact us here immediately so we can correct the purchase prior to the item being shipped from our warehouse. If the warehouse has processed the order, we may not be able to modify the order.
